1.1 GFBH GROUP LLC, operating under the trade name Typewriters.io and incorporated in Wyoming, offers its services exclusively under these Terms and Conditions.
These General Terms and Conditions systematically apply to all customer orders received by Typewriters.
Typewriters expressly states it does not accept the customer’s conditions of sale if they differ from these terms.
2.1 Conditions provided by Typewriters to the customer before placing their (electronic) order serve as an invitation to enter into a contract.
2.2 A contract is established at the prices and conditions provided as soon as Typewriters confirms the order in writing.
2.3 The customer is accountable for orders made under their username.
2.4 Delivery dates become binding only when confirmed in writing by Typewriters.
2.5 Typewriters reserves the right to refuse customer orders for various reasons, including but not limited to content issues or feasibility. Typewriters is not obliged to provide reasons for refusal, and the customer is not entitled to compensation.
2.6 Quoted prices are exclusive of taxes.
3.1 Typewriters offers professional translation and copywriting services.
3.2 Typewriters commits to adhering to the due diligence criteria widely accepted in the industry, tailored to each specific case.
3.3 For translations, texts are accurately and appropriately rendered in the requested language, faithful to the original text's meaning.
3.4 Specialized terminology is considered only upon agreement and provided sufficient documentation is supplied beforehand.
3.5 Should a translation be subject to intellectual property laws, Typewriters will ensure the customer gains comprehensive exploitation rights.
3.7 The pricing schedule outlined herein applies exclusively to translation requests submitted via the "Translate Now" page on Typewriters.io. For standard content translations, the following tiered pricing is in effect: $0.12 per word for requests up to 500 words, $0.10 per word for requests ranging from 501 to 1,500 words, and $0.08 per word for requests exceeding 1,500 words. In instances where translation services require incorporation of the contextual aspects of the client’s business, an additional surcharge of $0.02 per word will be levied. General translations are exempt from any additional charges. An express delivery option, ensuring a 24-hour turnaround as opposed to the standard 48 hours, is available for a surcharge of USD 25 for large requests and USD 15 for small to medium requests. It is pertinent to note that these prices apply only in the absence of a specific contractual agreement between Typewriters and the client, under which different pricing terms may be negotiated.
4.1 Payment is due upon the customer's receipt of the order confirmation. Payment terms will be specified by Typewriters.
4.2 Typewriters may require a deposit or bank guarantee.
4.3 Invoices are sent exclusively electronically to streamline the billing and payment process.
5.1 Services will be delivered as specified in the client's order form.
5.2 Delivery methods other than those initially agreed require prior consent, with any associated costs borne by the customer.
6.1 Any defects must be reported within 15 days of service delivery. Immediate notification is required for apparent defects; hidden defects should be reported as soon as discovered.
7.1 Should services not meet the agreed standards, Typewriters will correct the issue within a reasonable timeframe, provided the shortcomings are not due to customer fault.
12.1 Contracts may be terminated by the customer by providing three months' written notice, unless otherwise specified in the contract. This provision does not apply to pre-packaged translation services.
13.1 For two years post-collaboration, the customer agrees not to poach or employ, without consent, any Typewriters personnel (translators, writers, etc.).
14.1 All ancillary agreements, promises, understandings, amendments, and supplements require written form to be valid.
15.1 The place of execution for all services is the registered office of Typewriters in Wyoming, USA. Any disputes will be governed by Wyoming law.
17.1 Should any part of these Terms become invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. A suitable replacement will be applied that most closely matches the original intention.
18.1 Typewriters prioritizes the confidentiality of all transmitted texts but acknowledges the residual risk of unauthorized third-party access due to the nature of digital communication.
18.2 While Typewriters employs modern methods to safeguard against viruses and sabotage, complete protection cannot be guaranteed.
18.3 Customer personal data is processed and protected against unauthorized access, with deletion available upon customer request.
